Welcome to Tantalizing Tuesday

I've been invited by my friend, Susan Ricci, to participate in
a really fun activity. Susan, by the way, is a nominee for the Liebster Award for Discover New Blogs. Good luck, Susan. :) You can check out Susan's latest book here. Get it now. You'll love it.

If you'd like to take part, answer the questions below...I've included my answers afterward. You can post to facebook if you wish.

1. What would you do if you went back in time and ended up as yourself at 16 years old again?
2. Who is your real-life superhero and why?
3. If you could be any of your own book characters (or someone else's) who would it be and why?
4. Puppies or kittens?
5. What would retirement look like for you and what would you do?
6. If you have books published, which one do you wish you'd written differently and how would you change it. If not, what would your best of the best novel look like?
7. Happily ever after or happily never after?
8. Do your day job coworkers end up as characters in your novels?
9. If you could live in a TV show, which show would it be?
10. How many books are in your to-be-read pile and which one is up next to read?

My answers (lol):

 1. What would you do if you went back in time and ended up as yourself at 16 years old again?
I would pursue a singing career. I was evaluated at Duke University at 16 years of age and received a top rating but
never did anything with it.
    2. Who is your real-life superhero and why?
My mother. She was always there for me despite her many problems. She was a brilliant woman who was
a friend to everyone she met and wrote beautifully, leaving stories and journals and a book she never
published. She gave of herself to her children, putting us above her own needs.
    3. If you could be any of your own book characters (or someone else's) who would it be and why?
That's a very difficult question. There are so many. However, Dani from the Fever Series by Karen
Marie Moning would be my top choice. Why? Who wouldn't love to be with Jericho Barrons. :)
    4. Puppies or kittens?
I love both but prefer kittens. We have nine rescues living with us. I can't see me walking nine dogs...lol.
    5. What would retirement look like for you and what would you do?
I am here...in retirement...and writing, which I've always wanted to do.
    6. If you have books published, which one do you wish you'd written differently and how would you change it. If not, what would your best of the best novel look like?
I am constantly striving to improve and would love to be a paranormal romance author...a good one. I wouldn't change anything beyond more edits..:) I can never stop.
    7. Happily ever after or happily never after?
Always happily ever.
    8. Do your day job coworkers end up as characters in your novels?
No....just me...lol.
    9. If you could live in a TV show, which show would it be?
Don't watch much Tv...can't hear it...lol. However, I think I'd like to be the Dowager in Downtown Abbey. Her constant barbs (no pun intended) are delightful.
    10. How many books are in your to-be-read pile and which one is up next to read?
Oh my gosh...I have over one thousand on my kindle and keep adding more. My TBR list is not quite that
big, but it is huge. I just finished The Last Valkyrie by Jennifer Sage and recommend it highly. I'm now reading Hidden Carmina by Adri Sinclair. :)

Peace,
Barb
